Day 1 Tarangire :Upon arrival, you will meet your driver guide at the airport and start the day by driving for 2 hours to the gate of Tarangire National Park which is famous for its big elephants. In the park, you may come across other mammals such as big cats, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. It is home to hundreds of species of birds flying from one point to another. Tarangire National Park has a river known as the “Tarangire River” which tends to flow the whole year. During the dry season, the river becomes an “attracter” for many animals which helps you to sport wildlife animals easy. During lunch, you will have a picnic lunch while praising the beauty of the park. After a full-day game drive, you will go to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day
2
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley until Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Although small in dimension (205sq miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and is well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees, as well as a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge number of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. Some unique facts about this park include the tree climbing lions, flamingos on the lake shore, as well as the ground hornbill and the crested eagle. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that can not be described in words, and the game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake (and its flamingos) in the background.
Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater: After breakfast, descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a morning game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Supported by all year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater. Later on, you will proceed to the airport for your flight.
